§ 13.40.080. North San José District; Rosemary Gardens Unit Nos. 1 and 2; North Rosemary No. 1; and Orchard Nos. 2, 5, 7 and 8.

A.

The scheme or plan for numbering houses and street entrances to buildings in those portions or districts of the city annexed on the dates hereinafter set forth, and designated North San José District, Orchard Number 2, Rosemary Gardens Unit Number 2, Orchard Number 5, Orchard Number 7, North Rosemary Number I and Orchard Number 8, respectively, prepared by the city engineer of San José and filed in the office of the city clerk, with a duplicate filed with the building inspector, department of building, on the eleventh day of February, 1952, and entitled: "Supplemental Official Street Number Map, City of San José, Calif., North San José District, Annexed July 7, 1939, Orchard Number 2, Annexed January 2, 1942, Rosemary Gardens Unit Number I Annexed March 29, 1946, Rosemary Gardens Unit Number 2 Annexed February 26, 1948, Orchard Number 5 Annexed August 10, 1948, Orchard Number 7, Annexed October 1, 1948, North Rosemary Number I Annexed August 24, 1950, and Orchard Number 8 Annexed November I, 1951," is hereby approved and adopted as part of the official street number map of the City of San José.

B.

All street entrances to buildings and exterior doors to houses fronting on or facing any street in the districts or areas above designated in this section and annexed on the dates abovementioned in this section, shall be numbered to correspond with the numbers allocated to the block, section or division of street frontage upon which they front as shown by the aforesaid street number map.

C.

A duplicate copy of the supplemental official street number map abovementioned in this section shall be kept in the office of the building department, which shall, upon the application of the owner or occupant of any house or building in said portions of the city, furnish him with a memorandum of the correct numbers of each of its street entrances after said owner or occupant has furnished said building department with a correct description of the property built upon.
