§ 15.11.1000. Landscape irrigation systems with recycled water.

A.

Plants and trees that will be irrigated with recycled water as described in the landscape design plan shall be plants adapted for the San José climate and tolerant of salinity buildup in the soil.

B.

All recycled water irrigation systems shall:

1.

Be metered separately from the potable water supply system;

2.

Have no on-site cross-connections to the potable water supply system; and

3.

Be designed and operated in accordance with applicable laws.
