§ 17.68.1130. Conflict with other laws.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter:

A.

A storage facility regulated by any state or federal agency will be exempt from any conflicting provision of this chapter.

B.

If the storage facility is required to have a permit from the department of health services under Health and Safety Code Section 25100 et seq., it shall be exempted from any provision of this chapter which is covered by the regulations adopted pursuant to the above cited statute.

C.

Whenever any provision of this chapter conflicts with the fire code as adopted by city, the stricter provision shall prevail.

D.

Effective January 1, 1991, whenever any provision of this chapter conflicts with any provision set forth in Chapter 6.7 of the Health and Safety Code or any regulation adopted pursuant thereto, the state law or regulation shall control.
