§ 20.80.1400. Outdoor private property special event.

An outdoor private property special event is a temporary outdoor use of private property that meets the criteria in either subsections A. or B. below.

A.

The outdoor private property special event will displace required parking for the existing use or uses on the site. Required parking for purpose of this part includes parking required under Chapter 20.90, except in the case of a city approved street closure which prevents access to such required parking.

B.

The outdoor private property special event requires a permit under the jurisdiction of any of the following agencies:

1.

San José Police Department;

2.

San José Fire Department; or

3.

California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control.
