§ 24.01.350. Existing occupancy.

A.

Buildings in existence on December 31, 2016 may have their existing use or occupancy continued if the use or occupancy was legal at the time of the adoption of the building code, and provided continued use is not dangerous to life, health and safety.

B.

A change in the use or occupancy of any existing building or structure shall comply with the provisions of Part 6 of Chapter 24.02 and Chapter 24.07.
