§ 6.50.040. Uniform, insignia and vehicle rules - Prescribed by chief of police.

  • The chief of police may prescribe reasonable rules and regulations concerning the uniforms and insignias worn by uniformed employees of a private patrol operator or an in-house security program, and vehicles used by a private patrol operator or an in-house security program, to make the uniforms and vehicles clearly distinguishable from the uniforms worn by, and the vehicles used by, local regular law enforcement officers.
