§ 6.56.060. Number of permits limited.

Not more than twenty-five permits of the character called for by this chapter shall be in effect in the city at any one time; provided, that the passage of this chapter shall not be deemed to revoke any existing permit; and provided, further, that the council may, in its discretion, renew any existing permit until such time as it may be revoked by action of the council or by attempted transfer.
